Here at Kyttsy we have a dream, a dream to one day have a shop where anyone, no matter their size, can leave feeling good about themselves. We are dedicated to keeping this shop as sustainable as possible, so everything is made to measure, using supplies purchased from other small businesses.
Our focus is alternative fashions, particularly historically inspired, and EGL clothing. We also offer items made with our own custom printed fabric.
No matter who you are, we here at Kyttsy hope there’s something here for you. And if there isn’t, feel free to suggest things you want to see!
The Team
Kyttsy is primarily run by myself, Kytt. I got fed up of never being able to find clothes that fit and actually look good, and decided to make my own and start a shop for people who are in a similar boat. As a disabled woman I also know that not all fabrics and closures are created equal. I personally prefer to have zips to close my blouses instead of fiddly buttons, or for them to just be able to pull on over my head, but I know other disabled people who prefer velcro closures, and some who like the breathability of cotton, while others like how easy polyester is to taker care of. Basically, there is no one size fits all construction, and that’s the joy of shopping with us. As each item is made to order you can request so many alterations and personalisation to make your clothing uniquely yours.
I am aided in my endeavour by my husband John AKA Mr Kyttsy, who takes care of the website, social media presence and other assorted admin duties. He can occasionally be persuaded to make a thing with gentle coaxing and the promise of tea. He enjoys long walks on the beach, programming, and making lists of things with three items in them.
